Three years ago, Sephiroth was finally defeated for good by a changed man; Cloud. So much had happened, so many lives lost, yet it was all over. They began to live their lives to the fullest, and they were happy. A real family. Tifa ran her bar as normal, except this time there were no interruptions. Cloud continued with his delivery service and together they took care of many homeless and abandoned children. Yuffie began her own materia stall, selling the materia she had … ‘borrowed’ to make money for the restoration of Wutai. Barret kept up his drilling and mining service, while Red XIII and Cait Sith took time off to volunteer to help others. Vincent … Well he was much the same as always.
However, time can only stand still for so long.
After massive building projects finished, completing the re-work of Midgar, Kalm, Mideel and Junon, Shin-Ra have decided to go back to their old ways. They have started to become secretive, and rumour has it that a certain mad scientist is back, creating ‘experimental humanoids’ or ‘living weapons’. These experiments have since been running amock in Gaia, much to the dismay of the main Shin-Ra operatives. Rufus has become increasingly stressed thanks to the damage all these animalistic beings have caused, but that hasn’t stopped him going ahead with his own plans;
Political dominance, and power.
Amongst all this chaos, men in black cloaks have been turning up once more, muttering about the ‘Reunion’. Will this turn out to be a repeat of the last time? Will a mystery silver haired man return? Unfortunately it seems so, except this time, things will be much tougher. The Tsviets are no longer in existence … Or atleast we didn’t think so, but the cloaked men and the Deepground forces have been showing up all over the place. So far Gaia isn’t in much of a state, but things are not looking good for the future.

'Great Glacier;; (3 sub-boards) the great glacier is a frozen waste in the northern continent. the tempertures are below freezing, but there are some benefits, such as hidden treaures within the caves along the frozen and snow covered ground. snowboarding and other winter sports can be taken place in here

'The Sleeping Forest;; (1 sub-board) the sleeping forest is a very tricky place to pass through. in order to reach through it to the end, the lunar harp must be acquired

'Bone Village;; bone village is a archaeological dig site, where the lunar harp and other such treasures can be excavated and sold for high prices. the sleeping forest can be found by passing through here

'Modeoheim;; an old abandoned city that shin-ra supposedly built up at the height of their operations. it was once quite busy and bustling with shin-ra operatives, now it lays to waste, in silence

'Chocobo Sage's House;; if in need of a crazy chocobo know-it-all, this is the place to come. it's a cosy little house, but the sage is ... well, just a little on the loopy side. he doesn't always give you the answers that you need

'Round Island;; a round island at the top eastern most corner in the north. the only way to get onto the forested island is via gold chocobo or airship. the knights of the round materia can be found here

'Midgar City;; (5 sub-boards) the largest city in the whole of gaia, it is also where the base of operations for shin-ra used to, and still, take place. the city is over-populated though now in better condition than ever, since over the past three years, it has been re-built
'Junon;; (1 sub-board) shin-ra military base. behind it's walls lay many secrets. it is here where they developed the gelnika, highwind and others. submarine travel is quite common from here, aswell as the boat route to costa del sol
'Kalm;; a rather peaceful town, which roads are cobbled and houses small and dainty. festivities often take places here and there are quite a variety of shops to buy from

'Fort Condor;; initially a place of warfare, and also where a giant condor nested itself upon the top of the fort. the condor has since died, but in it's wake it left behind a rather valuable summon

'Mountain Range;; (2 sub-boards) a long mass of mountains that seperate midgar and the chocobo farm from fort condor and junon. within the mountains can be found a variety of caves, among other structures

'Mideel;; mideel is a springs village, surrounded by clear fresh water. the buildings are supported by wooden structures over the water itself. this town was destroyed by the lifestream thanks to one of the weapons, but it has been rebuilt

'Banora Village;; a city that has been laid to waste for some time now. the soil used to be rich and from that, came the banora apples which were purple in colour ... the village did, and still does, hold many secrets

'Nibelheim;; (1 sub-board) nibelheim is quite an old town, situated at the foot of a mountain, on which is built a desterted mako reactor. nibelheim is also where the shin-ra mansion can be found

'Mt. Corel;; (3 sub-boards) this is a mountain which seperates costa del sol from the rest of the western continent. at the foot of the mountain lies north corel. an old reactor rests here

'Costa Del Sol;; a tourist hotspot. this is where people come to relax and have a good time. available things to do include sunbathing, swimming, surfing, going to the pub and more

'Cosmo Canyon;; cosmo canyon is home to many literary beings and those knowledgeable of the planey. visit here, and you may learn lots about gaia, yourself, and others

'Rocket Town;; shin-ra once proposed a space progamme shuttle launch to the people of this town, however, things went pear-shaped and the launch failed. afterwards, the rocket was left where it fell, slowly tilting towards the ground ... nowadays, the rocket is gone and the town is striving

'Wutai;; a latge village that is home largely to ninjas. the buildings that are structured here are ancient in design, and pagoda shaped. a much larger pagoda is situated at the back of the village, and is where the leviathon materia can be found

'Gongaga;; a reactor village in the middle of a forest. there isn't very much to do here as the town itself is very small, but in the very lest it's a calm and relaxed place to be, complete with it's very own graveyard ...
